I'm still too angry to make a call on this one. They say posting screenshots of questions and answers is ok, but frankly I'm disinclined to help them PR something for just the twins when they are attacking Tokio Hotel fans and forcing them to remove content 99 percent of the fans don't have access to or can't afford. My feelings right now are if they want to be twats I'll happily ban all conversation of the app altogether. This is a Tokio Hotel forum, not a BTK forum. If they want me to enforce that, no problemo. FOR ME. I think they'll end up regretting pissing off 99 percent of the fans they have left.
The BTK admin post about sharing screencaps is the most horrifically bad PR the boys have ever had, including the time Tom punched a girl in the head. At this point I'm glad it's just bad twin PR and not bad band PR.
The absolute fury I am seeing stampede around the web over this and the threats of TH websites shutting down altogether until the BAND starts PRing something again as a group is appalling. If the twins had tried to alienate 3/4 of their fans deliberately, they could not have done a better job. Asking TWIN fans to narc out TOKIO HOTEL fans on tokio hotel websites was particularly disturbing. Now half the fandom thinks the band is breaking up. In case the twins are unclear on why people are buying the app, it isn't for the bad blurry photos they've been posting, it's for the chance to talk to them personally with a reply to a post. Sharing screencaps of all their answers encourages people to join and try to get an answer too. Trying to stop this will kill the app. I have read nearly a hundred enraged tweets from people saying they are not renewing their subscription. Among less pleasant things. The blurry 30 second videos we've gotten are REALLY more valuable than the 6-9 minute videos we got every week for free from THTV? I don't personally think so.
Do they really want all mention of the app forbidden on the forums and youtube and blogs? Has anyone thought this through? The forums and blogs and youtube are why people KNOW about the app and have remained interested. They are the free advertising. The btk app just might get a complete blackout if they keep this up. Its not a band app, its a twins app. There's no reason to allow discussion of it or advertising it anywhere, and I am seeing this comment made over and over by forums.
What on earth is the matter with the BTK people? Do they sincerely have no clue how internet fandom works? If they aren't getting as many sales as they expected it's because most people don't HAVE an expensive android phone or apple whatever. Have they forgotten WHO their fans are? Most of this fandom thinks that the BAND, not just the twins, should be doing this for free as it is. They are paying on sufferance, and if the app is filled with "oh this is the greatest" messages its only because the little girls writing in don't want to make the twins mad and think kissing their butt will get them a personal pat on the head. I hope to God they are smart enough not to do that. They need to stay out of this disaster or end it with a post themselves saying they NEVER told anyone to say any of that. Their fandom is built on youtube. If they start attacking fans they can kiss their fandom goodbye. Just threatening them was so far out of bounds it's horrific. Thank GOD most fans think the twins don't know it was said at all. If they make any comment personally claiming knowledge they might as well just punch fans in the head again.

If there really is a free website being made for all the fans who don't have the app, the politic thing to do would be to ignore the sharing until the website was up, so there will be a happy place for everyone to go to instead and there wouldn't be a need to copy stuff all over. But the nasty remark pointing out only SOME of that information will be available was truly idiotic. Everyone could go there, if all the info, not just whatever they deem is "important," was posted. And I'm guessing all that is planned is youtube videos that used to be on Tom's blog that everyone hated. But it again raises the question as to WHY the twins are doing this outside of tokio hotel in the first place, and why the app info isn't being loaded onto the official website for fans. Why a whole new website if the band isn't breaking up? People are asking this question very loudly.
It's all giving me and my flu a stomach ache. I am STILL trying to believe the twins aren't behind this fiasco.

Tokio Hotel Australia We have been quiet here for some time, mainly due to the fact that Tokio Hotel the band have not been doing anything much. The BTK app is out on Android and iPhone markets, however we would like to make everyone aware that there is an ongoing subscription fee involved. In addition to this, the managers of the app are about to start banning people who share the content of the app via social media, youtube and personal sites. Given this is the case, we feel that until the band come together again to produce music and the emphasis is no longer on the twins, this fanclub will be quiet. If you have the app, please make sure you let them know that the sharing of information isn't a bad thing - especially for a band trying to remain relevant in a fast paced industry. so if you want to keep any of these videos, i would say that now is the time to grab anything that is still available on youtube, as i am assuming things will be pulled at some point (and maybe soon). i recommend keep-tube.com/

imanka, Ichbinda, в комментариях к приложению было очень много комментов в духе - все правильно. так и надо. Мы платим, а они нет. Наверное, примерно поровну, но с перевесом в защиту стороны админов.
СкуТень, наверно правильно. но с самого начала была речь, что вообще неправильно было делать это платное приложение. Сейчас они оценили фанов в 3 бакса, а в ответ у фанов встал вопрос "Во сколько оценить отношение группы к фанам?"
