Interviewer: I've got a little story for you. Do you know that some people in Europe have long known you for a reason that has nothing to do with music? During american Idol you were asked who inspired you for your haircut at the time...
Adam: Oh my god! (He erupts in laughter) Bill Kaulitz! Of course I remember!

Adam: It's funny frankly. The guy has a great style, he's very pretty. That's all and certain Tokio Hotel fans were so mad at me. Unbelievable. And then it became a war between my fans and Tokio Hotel fans, with "Adam copies Bill! No it's Bill who copies Adam!" But nobody copies!
We just both have similar tastes : we both love black, the rock-ish style, fashion...There are tons of people dressed just like us, only they are not all musicians and famous...What's more, doesn't he like girls? Honestly, I am one of those who think that one has to respect the way others indentify themselves. If he says he likes girls, then it's the way it is. I just think that he looks like someone very interesting, that's all...
After that, this story has taken incredible proportions. We're not the only guys who wear mascara after all...And in away, it's forgetting our past, because in the 70s and the 80s there were a lot of glam rock adepts, androgyny...Nowadays men don't take risks anymore...Bill and I, the only thing we have in common is the eyeliner...Our voices are different, our music is different and we don't look like each other.
