international fan community very successfully. What is your secret?
What advice can you give to other companies when it comes to successfully building a community?
I especially believe
regarding to live events, we've always been a band
with main focus on a good show and
not paying attention of making the most profit,
but really creating value and offering experiences
where people talk about it for a long time and remember them fondly for a long time.
We continue to do this. We've always been a band
which tends to spent too much on productions and always using new technology
and new show elements, that we can offer to people
and not only focussing on the budget.
I would say in public relations it's easy
and important to be yourself and to be authentic.
I think that is the case what defines us.
We've been a band for over 20 years, who started in 2001 as students
on open stages in Magdeburg
and we are still the same guys,
who simply communicate openly and stand for who they are.
What inspiration and insights will you take away from #BOE24?
I find it very fascinating how wide
the different offers are at the fair,
what also belongs to the event area.
It's not just about huge trade fairs or big concerts
but also events in any smaller form.

Industry as a whole has changed a lot.
Especially a lot has changed for us as a band,
because at the beginning we let a lot of things happen
and today in 2024 are self-determined like never before.
That means, we influence productions, routing, compilation
and I would say that overall the event industry is in demand.
I think people are really keen on live concerts and like to go to shows.
Especially now after corona, I got the impression,
that people noticed what they were missing
and therefore are consuming a lot of live events again.
It has changed to the advantage that the acceptance or value of live events are becoming more and more appreciated in our society.
What do you think are the most promising developments in the event industry? Where does the greatest potential lie?
I think the potential is in the new kinds of live events, which also exist,
if you look at podcast-touring, as a massive rising market and growing market with great demand.
I think, that this will shape the future and that the trend goes away from just consuming pure trade fairs and live concerts to more comedy, more podcasts.
Furthermore other topics are getting a stage too
