Translator: Die Frage ist, was fühlt ihr, wenn ihr so weit weg von eurem, erm, von eurem Land spielen müsst. Also, so… so weit weg von Deutschland.
The question is [about] what you feel like when you’ve got to play so far away from your [home] country. Well, like... so far away from Germany.
Bill: Erm, ich würd’ sagen, dass ist immer so’n bisschen gemischt. Also, größtenteils natürlich sind wir, sind wir stolz und freuen uns, dass wir so weit wegreisen und die Leute dann trotzdem unsere Musik kennen und erm, zu unser’n Konzerten kommen. Und das ist natürlich gerade für ’ne deutsche Band irgendwie so’n Traum, der in Erfüllung geht, dass man auf ander’n Kontinenten Konzerte spielen kann. Und gleichzeitig haben wir natürlich ’n bisschen Heimweh. Also, wenn wir jetzt so lange fliegen und so lange weg sind auch, dann vermisst man auch schon so’n bisschen sein Zuhause. Erm, aber der Großteil ist eigentlich natürlich die Freude darüber, dass wir irgendwie die Möglichkeit haben aufzutreten.
Erm, I would say that it’s always a bit mixed. Meaning, for most parts we are, we are of course proud and are happy that we’re travelling so far away and that the people still know our music and erm, come to our concerts. And especially for a German band that’s of course some kind of a dream that came true [when] one is able to play concerts on different continents. And at the same time we’re a bit homesick. Meaning, when we’re flying for such a long time now and also are away for such a long time, then one also misses their home a bit. Erm, but of course for the most part it’s actually happiness about us somehow having the opportunity to perform.

Do you think that you may also be able to sing in another language other than English or German or that it might happen some day? Well, that...
Tom: Also, wir haben mal einen Song auf erm, Japanisch aufge-… Also, Bill hat einen Song in Japanisch eingesungen, erm und hatte dabei ’n bisschen Hilfe und das ist ihm, glaube ich, nicht so gut gelungen. *Tom, the Japanese expert making Bill smile* Also, mich würde mal interessieren, ob die das überhaupt verstehen wirklich, was Bill da singt. Erm, aber erm, sonst sind wir, glaube ich, mit Englisch und Deutsch ganz gut ausgelastet. Also, man muss sagen, das gerade ’ne Albumproduktion bei uns sehr lange dauert, erm, wenn wir die Songs in Deutsch und Englisch aufnehmen. Wir haben für’s letzte Album echt ’ne Ewigkeit gebraucht, das so zu machen. Erm, von daher sind wir, erm, glaube ich, mit zwei Sprachen ganz gut bedient.
Well, we’ve once [recorded] a song in, erm, Japanese… Well, Bill recorded the vocals in Japanese for a song, erm, and he had a bit of help with it and I think, it didn’t turn out too well for him. *Tom, the Japanese expert making Bill smile* Meaning, I’d just be interested [to know] whether they actually really understand what Bill is singing on it. Erm, but, erm, apart from that we’re pretty much occupied with English and German, I think. Well, one has got to say that especially the production of an album takes a really long time with us, erm, when we’re recording the songs in German and English. We’ve really taken ages for our last album doing it that way. Erm, so therefore I think two languages are quite enough for us.

Translator: Fühlt ihr euch irgendwie verantwortlich, dass ihr irgendeinen Einfluss auf eure Generation, erm [bekannt] seid? Also, dass ihr Einfluss auf eure Generation habt.
Do you somehow feel responsible, that you’ve got some influence on your generation? Meaning, that you’ve got influence on your generation?
Bill: Erm also, eigentlich denkt man darüber nicht so viel nach, muss ich sagen, weil man die meiste Zeit… Also, letztendlich machen wir ja nur Musik, ne? Und erm, das ist ja auch das was wir können. Das heißt wir, wir denken jetzt nicht drüber nach irgendwie Leute irgendwie zu beeinflussen, sondern wir machen einfach das was uns Spaß macht und erm, erm… Ja, was, was wir irgendwie auch für richtig halten. Also, wir denken nie so wirklich drüber nach, erm, dass jetzt irgendwer sich ’n Beispiel daran nimmt oder so. Man macht einfach wirklich das wie man’s am besten kann und erm, macht sich da nich’ so wirklich viel Gedanken darum und erm… Wir haben ja auch sehr früh angefangen, ne? Unsere erste Single kam raus, da waren wir 15 und erm, von daher haben wir das einfach immer so gemacht wie wir’s irgendwie am besten fanden und wie wir’s für richtig… richtig halten, einfach.
Erm well, actually I’ve got to say that one doesn’t think about it much because most of the time... Well, in the end we’re just making music, right? And erm, after all that’s also the thing we know how to do. That means we, we’re not thinking about influencing people somehow but we just do what we enjoy doing and erm, erm... Yes, also what we think is right somehow. Meaning, we never really think about, erm, that somebody is taking a leaf out of our book or something like that. One really just does something the way they can do it best and erm, doesn’t really think about it a lot and erm... After all we also started out very early, right? Our first single was released when we were 15 and erm, therefore we’ve always been doing it the way we somehow thought was best and what we just thought was right.

Translator: Habt ihr irgendwas gewusst über Peru und über Lateinamerika bevor ihr hier aufgetaucht seid? *giggling*
Have you known anything about Peru and about Latin America before you showed up here? *giggling*
*Bill and Georg grinning*
Tom *slightly laughing*: Also, nicht so richtig viel. Also, wir lassen uns eigentlich… lassen wir uns immer ’n bisschen, erm, überraschen. Wir waren ja bisher auch immer nur in Mexiko. Das heißt, das ist echt unser erstes Mal, erm, dass wir hier Konzerte spielen und erm, auch unsere Fans sehen und von daher… Wir haben das schon ganz lange geplant und haben uns schon tierisch drauf gefreut. Wir wollten eigentlich auch schon viel früher mal kommen, erm, aber es hat jetzt erst geklappt und, und erm… Wir wollten uns eigentlich überraschen lassen. Also, richtig viel wussten wir nicht, ehrlich gesagt. Aber bisher haben wir ’nen sehr, sehr guten Eindruck. Also, wir hatten ’n sehr gutes Konzert in Brasilien und erm, hoffen, wir können das heute fortsetzen und ’n gutes Konzert hier haben. Ja! Und sind positiv überrascht, auf jeden Fall.
*slightly laughing* Well, not much really. Meaning, actually we let ourselves... we always let ourselves be surprised a bit. So far we’ve always only been to Mexico. That means this is really the first time, erm, that we’re playing concerts here and erm, also see our fans and therefore... We’ve been planning this for quite a long time already and were extremely looking forward to it. Actually we’ve wanted to come much sooner, erm, but it only just worked out now and, and erm... Actually we wanted to let ourselves be surprised. Meaning, we didn’t really know a lot to be honest. However, so far we’ve got a very, very good impression. Meaning, we’ve had a really good concert in Brazil and erm, are hoping that we can repeat this today and have a good concert here. Yes! And we’re definitely pleasantly surprised.

Translator: Könnt ihr fünf Bands nennen, die irgendwie Einfluss auf euch hatten? Also, die irgendwie eure Musik beeinflusst haben.
Can you name five bands that somehow influenced you? Meaning, that somehow influenced your music.

Bill: Also, wir… Ich kann nicht so richtig, erm… *deep breath*… für alle sprechen, weil wir alle ziemlich unterschiedlich sind, wenn’s da dazu kommt. Also, wir alle haben ’nen super unterschiedlichen Musikgeschmack eigentlich.
Well, we… I can’t really, erm… *deep breath* … speak for all of us because we’re all pretty different when it comes to that. Meaning, all of us have actually got a very different taste in music.
Tom: Eigentlich gibt’s ja auch keine fünf Bands, die uns beeinflussen haben.
Actually there aren’t even five bands that have influenced us.
Bill: Genau. Es gibt eigentlich nicht so fünf Bands, die uns jetzt beeinflusst haben. Wir haben auch nie Songs gecovert. Also, wir haben immer unsere eigene Musik gemacht und erm, von daher ist das echt schwierig. Also, wenn ich jetzt für mich sprechen kann was ich privat jetzt gern für Musik höre, erm, dann, erm, ist es auf jeden Fall so Stereophonics und Aerosmith. Aber auch so achtziger Jahre-Sachen. Ich mag Depeche Mode super gerne und erm, ’n paar Sachen auch von Davie Bowie. Also, es ist ganz, ganz gemischt. Aber das war jetzt nicht… Das sind jetzt nicht unsere, erm, Leute an denen wir uns irgendwie orientiert haben oder so.
Exactly. There aren’t actually five bands that have influenced us. We’ve also never covered songs. Meaning, we’ve always been making our own music and erm, therefore it’s very difficult. Well, now if I’m just talking for myself [and] what music I personally like to listen to, erm, then, erm, it’s definitely, like, Stereophonics and Aerosmith. But also, like, things from the Eighties. I like Depeche Mode very much and erm, a few things by David Bowie. Well, it’s very, very diverse. However, now that wasn’t... Those are not our, erm, people that we based ourselves on or something like that.

Translator: Er fragt über das Programm heute Abend. Was werdet ihr… Was werdet ihr heute Abend singen und spielen?
He’s asking about tonight’s programme. What will you... What will you be singing and playing tonight?
Tom: Erm also, ziemlich genau das was wir auf der Europa-Tour gemacht haben. Also, wir haben versucht so viel wie möglich auch mitzubringen von der Produktion. Die Setlist wird die gleiche sein. Also das heißt, wir haben sehr, sehr viel von unserem aktuellen Album natürlich, Humanoid, dabei und erm, spielen aber auch ’n paar alte Songs und erm, wie gesagt, haben auch versucht ’n bisschen Produktion mitzunehmen. Erm, und ich glaube, das wird ganz gut. Also, es wird ’ne gute Show. Wir waren vorhin schon beim Soundcheck und das sieht alles sehr, sehr gut aus.
Erm well, pretty much exactly what we’ve been doing on our European tour. Meaning, we’ve tried to bring along as much of our production as possible. The set list will be the same. So that means, of course we’ve got many, many songs from our current album, Humanoid, with us and erm, will also be playing a few old songs and erm, as I’ve said before, [we] have also tried to bring along a little of the production. Erm, and I think it’ll be very good. Well, it’ll be a good show. We’ve already had the sound check earlier and everything looks very, very good.

Tokio Hotel in Lima: The band enlisted spectacular concert tonight

The German band was received by Peruvian fans and moved to the Hotel Marriot. The group promises a show of pyrotechnics and special effects in Lima.

The wait is over. The young German pop band Tokio Hotel arrived in Lima on Wednesday night and sparked excitement of their fans Peruvians expected the group at the Jorge Chávez Airport.

The group arrived in the capital by averaging 10:20 pm and moved to the Marriot Hotel under tight security, however, did not stop his fans to see them a few feet away.

How had already advanced the twins Bill and Tom Kaulitz, prepare a spectacular live show and futuristic, designed by Misley Buckley, who was the creator of the world captivating Blockbuster "The Fifth Element."

The stage 'is bloody' and 'be surprises", things that people do not expect us to do', expressed previously.

The stage measures 60 wide x 48 deep and is 6 feet tall, also has works from hydraulic structures, floating bridges, huge balls of fire and light. Other attractions of the show is a futuristic bike and a locker room full of lights will look like the singer during the concert.

The concert will be held on Thursday 25 at the Jockey Club del Peru. Tickets are on sale in Wong and Metro Teleticket.
