Just as they began eyebrow waxing sessions to start recording their first album Schrei, Sony annulled their contract.

Without the two piercings and the band tattoo on his neck, Bill Kaulitz, vocalist of Tokio Hotel, (a mix between Beetlejuice and Gokú on his last Kame Hame ha) was losing a bet against his twin brother Tom (guitarist of the band with dread braids, hiphop attire, and the most popular among girls). "Whoever kisses her first won't sing on Star Search", German talent show, proposed Tom. We don't know if with tongue or no tongue, but Tom won and forced Bill to participate in the show and, with his voice, drove the audience crazy. The musical career of the first two was made. The sexual awakening awaits!

With Georg (bass and keyboard) and Gustav (drums) in the band -musicians that speak only to ask where the bathroom is, who the twins met later in one of their Magdeburg shows, their native city-, Germany now had their pop rock group for beardless adolescents. Therefore, while ABC news described them as an "extravagant package with a winning combination of lyrics mixed with emo anxiety", the blogger Perez Hilton shared his existential crisis on the MTV EMA of that year: "So, Bill is gay? He's like the Boy George of 1983. I shall ask him and complete his manicure"

Black pants and leather jacket over a red shirt gothic-pop style, is the attire worn by the wax statue of Bill Kaulitz in Berlin. His nails are black, exotic -and distinctive- hairstyle and black circle make up, have made of Tokio Hotel the new advertising candy. Meanwhile as swarm of fans ask the singer's body "to go", the cash register keeps on chiming.

Their fortune reaches over 10 million euros (praise praise. The hair spray bottles and his finely tuned voice paid off). Even though for Bill "a television program or a magazine cover with Bravo have no value", without calculating much, he is one of the adolescents with most money in Germany. Of course, he could be multimillionaire yes, just as he assures, if the 90 percent of the advertising contracts they offer the band were not "shit".

Also, if you see two crazy girls around with a turban, move aside. But, what kind of a show are we talking about?

A little tease: with skinny leather pants, shoulder pads made out of feathers, plenty of black eyeliner and hair spray, the singer of the band, Bill Kaulitz, comes out from under the stage on a futuristic motorcycle. Suddenly, a special platform elevates Gustav's drums meanwhile Tom begins to play the piano.

The pyrotechnics and special effects do their thing. It is the largest production from the band. The screams are heard. The concert begins with Noise. Bill makes a fan go up and... What? You think I will tell you everything about the concert? No more, buy your ticket. Or wait for someone to upload it on Youtube.

Q: What is the most strange lie that has been told about any member of the band?

A: I remember a rumor that circulated on the Internet in which they said that I (Bill) had died from an overdose. Which was humorous to me.

Q: Do you have a ritual before starting a tour?

A: Before each concert we always go to the bathroom to do number two. And the truth is, it has always brought us luck.

Q: Do you have in mind adding something about your South American tour on your Internet show Tokio Hotel TV?

A: Of course. Every time we go on tour we bring along a camera man to take shots of our stay in the country. Then we upload them on the Internet and that's how we get our fans to participate on our lives and what we do.

Q: Did you know anything about our country before including Perú on your South American tour?

A: No. But, as always, we will let our selves be surprised while being there. We know we have some fantastic fans that support us a lot. We will be super happy to meet them for the first time.

Q: What served as inspiration to write the song In your Shadow?

A: One always carries behind one's shadow, with which one can prosper mutually. And, somehow, this song represents a link of union that we have as twins. We could not live one without the other.

Q: Was it hard to change languages to record the English album?

Yes. In this last album it was hard work, since we have to translate the lyrics from German to English to then record them. We spent a lot of time on the album's production, especially taking into account that we are true perfectionists.

7 curious facts of the Kaulitz twins

1. Tom loves typewriting and graffiti, but hates Mathematics and physics. He is a heart-breaker and dreams to cross paths with Angelina Jolie or Ashley Olsen.

2. Bill is 10 minutes younger than Tom, loves teddy bears, has not kissed anyone in 4 years, his favorite deodorant is Dove and hates it when watermelons have lots of seeds.(?!)

3. Their first kiss was with the same girl. Tom was first. They were both 9 years old. Usually, they dream the same thing.

4. Bill's grandmother nicknamed him Maky because he loves to eat at McDonalds. In his spare time he loves to draw and design new clothes, he is allergic to mosquito bites, his favorite band is Green Day and the tv series: Friends.

5. Tom has a phobia for sharks, confessed that the song Reden is based on an affair he had with a fan one night in his hotel room. He loves to sleep, his favorite tv show is: The Girls Next Door and loves pasta with tomato sauce and Parmesan cheese.

6. Bill says he is not gay, his favorite porn movie stars Paris Hilton. Even though his perfect date would be along with the Olsen twins. Of course, if one of them bites her nails, she is out.

7. Tom had an overdose of viagra when they were celebrating a party with various admirers in a hotel of the Taiwanese capital. Bill commented:
"There's no need for him to take that garbage. He still spends the day permanently excited".

Are you ready to meet Tokio Hotel in Lima? Because the guys of the band are ...

Bill: Wir werden natürlich alle Leute ganz herzlich begrüßen, die auch aus ander’n Ländern kommen. Erm, da freuen wir uns natürlich drüber, ne? Also, das ist natürlich so’ne, so’ne, so’ne… so’n Engagement und so eine… Lebenseinstellung und Philosophie einfach, die unsere Fans haben, dass sie wirklich sagen „Ok, wir kommen aus ander’n Ländern extra angereist für ’ne Show“. Da freut man sich natürlich besonders drüber.

Of course we’ll give all the people that are also coming from other countries a very warm welcome. Erm, of course we’re very happy about it, yeah? Meaning, that’s of course such, such, such dedication and such... just an attitude to life and philosophy our fans have got that they’re really saying “Ok, we’re especially travelling from other countries to see a show”. Of course one is especially happy about this.
Tom: Also, wir werden dann natürlich in Lima auf jeden Fall ’ne ganz besonders coole Show abliefern.

Well, of course we’ll definitely deliver an especially cool show in Lima then.
Bill: Genau. Exactly.

Bill: Erm… Also, eigentlich gibt es halt ein Ritual was wir haben. Dass Georg halt vor je-… *laughs* Dass Georg immer auf Toilette geht, erm, und sein „großes Geschäft“ macht, erm, vor jedem Konzert. Erm, das ist so’n bisschen so’n… unser abartiger Glücksbringer, den wir haben. Erm, und erm, ansonsten erm… Ja, na klar. Also, mein Look, der verändert sich ja natürlich ständig, aber natürlich sind die Ou-… die Kostüme sehr, sehr aufwendig für die Show. Erm, die sind auch wahnsinnig schwer. Also, das ist wirklich, erm, auch so’n bisschen ’ne Herausforderung gewesen damit, erm… wirklich ’ne ganze Tour zu spielen. Da sind ja auch sehr, sehr viele Kostümwechsel, die ich mache, auch in der Show und so weiter und erm, die sind auch sehr aufwendig. Also, teilweise leuchten die auch und haben dann große Batterien auf’m Rücken und so weiter. Also erm, ist schon nicht ganz so einfach, aber erm, es macht mir auf jeden Fall sehr viel Spaß und ich freu’ mich auch drauf das jetzt wieder zu machen auf der Tour.
Erm… Well, actually there’s just one ritual that we’re having. That is that Georg just before ea-… *laughs* It’s that Georg always goes to the toilet, erm, and does his “number two”, erm, prior to each concert. Erm, that’s a bit like... our disgusting lucky charm that we’ve got. Erm and, erm, otherwise erm... Yes, sure. Well, of course my look just changes constantly but of course the ou-... the costumes for the show are very, very elaborate. Erm, they’re also incredibly heavy. Meaning, it’s really also been a bit of a challenge to erm... really play a whole tour with them. After all, there are also many, many costume changes that I’m doing, also during the show and so on and erm, they’re also very elaborate. Meaning, they’re also glowing to some extent and therefore have got big batteries on the back and so on. Well, it’s not that easy but erm, I’m definitely having lots of fun with it and I’m also looking forward to be doing it again on tour now.

Bill *giggles* Erm also... eigentlich machen wir immer Meet & Greets. Also, wir versuchen so, wenn der schedule das zulässt und wir rechtzeitig da sind, vor der Show. Dann versuchen wir immer noch Meet & Greets zu machen, eigentlich. Und von daher…
*giggles* Erm well… Actually we’e always having Meet & Greets. Meaning, we’re trying to if the schedule is letting us and we’re there on time, before the show In that case, we’re actually always trying to have Meet & Greets. So therefore...

Bill: Genau. Das wird eigentlich über, über die Medienpartner dann verlost und so weiter. Ich könnt’ mir vorstellen, dass das auf jeden Fall noch kommt. Das ist wahrscheinlich jetzt noch ’n bisschen früh um darüber zu sprechen. Aber, erm, das wird’s bestimmt geben. Also, es gibt immer mal die Möglichkeit bei Wettbewerben mitzumachen und Meet & Greets zu gewinnen. Ich glaube auch, auf jeden Fall… in Lima.
Exactly. It actually gets raffled off by, by the media partners and so on. I could imagine that something will definitely still come up. It’s probably still a bit too early at the moment to be talking about it. However, erm, it’ll most likely happen. Meaning, there’s a chance to participate in contests and to win Meet & Greets from time to time. I also think, definitely... in Lima.
