Stille Nacht zu Silvester bei den Tokio-Hotel-Zwillingen: Den Jahreswechsel haben Bill und Tom Kaulitz sehr ruhig eingeläutet - der Grund: Corona.
"Wir waren zu Hause und waren krank ? an Covid", sagte Gitarrist Tom Kaulitz in der aktuellen Folge des Spotify-Podcasts "Kaulitz Hills - Senf aus Hollywood". Statt einer großen Feier hätten die beiden Fastfood bestellt, auf der "Couch abgegammelt" und einen Film geguckt. Wie es zu der Infektion gekommen sei, wüssten die beiden nicht. "Obwohl wir extrem vorsichtig sind, darum ärgert mich das doppelt", sagte der 32-Jährige.
Unterschiedliche Verläufe
Der Krankheitsverlauf war bei den Zwillingen eigenen Worten zufolge sehr unterschiedlich. "Ich hatte keinen Schüttelfrost, kein Fieber - gar nichts. Ich hatte Halsschmerzen", sagte Sänger Bill Kaulitz. Bei Bruder Tom sei das anders gewesen: "Wie eine schwere Grippe war das bei mir", so der Ehemann von Heidi Klum.
Wegen der Quarantäne hätten auch ihre Angestellten nicht im Haushalt helfen können. "Ich hab das Gefühl, wir standen nur noch in der Küche - ich habe richtige Abwaschhände", betonte Bill. "Wir waren richtige Hausmänner."
